A house that hides behind an historic stone wall that follows the Monmouthshire and Brecon Canal. Poking it’s roof over the stonework wall is a new build, timber framed Passivhaus dwelling designed to use Econocon strawbale insulation and to achieve Passivhaus Cetification. Using black corrugated cladding which references the industrial surroundings, key areas are picked out in a colourful hexagonal terracotta tiles. All PHPP and Passivhaus design completed in house.
