Shropshire Housing Group sought to design a new 12 unit affordable housing scheme on the site at Callaughton in Much Wenlock. The development consists of three 3 bedroom (5 person) houses, seven 2 bedroom (4 person) houses and two 1 bedroom (2 person) houses, all of which are designed to achieve Passivhaus certification.

The project had a demanding budget and inexperienced contractor which drove a scheme with a very limited energy float, requiring a deeper assessment of energy analysis including in depth thermal bridging analysis.
